About the apprenticeship
Duties
We are looking to recruit an office admin apprentice to work alongside experienced support staff and undertake the following duties:
• Maintaining office systems, including data management and filing
• Use of relevant software such as SIMS/CPOMs/email/Teams
• Producing and inputting manual registers into the system
• Identifying attendance mark anomalies
• Locating students around the building and updating the attendance registers with staff
• Identifying missing students around the building and responding appropriately in line with safeguarding procedures
• Dealing with student punctuality - greeting students in the morning, recording late marks, reporting on quality of late marks to the attendance officer and/or pastoral team.
• Ensuring electronic registers are updated if students sign in /out during the school day.
• Basic administrative support for the Attendance Officer (enveloping letters, printing, photocopying).
• Answering phone calls, meeting and greeting visitors and provide general office support to Attendance Officer and Student Services.
• Organising and attending meetings and taking minutes
