About the apprenticeship
Duties
Working for Bala Town FC as a community sport apprentice. You will gain experience of developing and delivering community sessions for specific user groups including:
- Community projects
- Girls only sessions
- Mini kickers and fun football sessions
- School based sessions
- Summer competitions
- Soccer Camps
- Admin work
- Academy assistant coaching
This role will also include:
-Applying for bids and grants through mentoring and support of the project.
-Developing commercial relationships and connections to the business community.
-Increased sponsorship, membership and stakeholder revenue streams.
Requirements
Skills
Level 2 sport coaching
- Strong sporting/footballing background.
- Experience of coaching/working with children.
- Good organisational skills.
- Positive attitudes
- Strong communication skills.
Qualifications
Minimum A*-C GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Level 2 Coaching Certificate / Equivalent
Language
Welsh Spoken Skills: No Welsh Written Skills: No
