You will be able to understand the relationship between the products we sell, and the Industry Specification the product conforms to, across all of the Infrastructure businesses. This is an excellent entry level position - relevant trainer will be provided. It's an opportunity to develop an exciting career and progress in a top company.
At Wolseley as a Technical Apprentice you will be working towards the Business Admin Level 3 over the duration of 18 months, alongside your daily roles and responsibilities.
Product Knowledge - A broad knowledge of products in the warehouse, basic understanding of warehouse standards and processes will be required.
Customer Focus - You will be expected to provide a quality service to the customer - understanding and satisfying customers' needs and exceeding expectations.
Communication - You must be an effective communicator as you will be expected to regularly share information and ideas. This needs to be clearly, succinctly and with confidence. You will also actively listen to others to encourage two-way discussion.
Teamwork - You will be required to work cooperatively with others, building relationships based on trust and respect to achieve shared goals. Teamwork requires showing an interest in, and understanding of others, adapting to other people's different ways of working where required.
Making Decisions - You may be required to make decisions in difficult circumstances or when information is incomplete. For this, you'll need to take information in quickly and accurately and by taking considered risks to meet customer needs.
