What will the apprentice be doing?
All the way through your apprenticeship, you'll work alongside engineering professionals. You'll gain a foundation in engineering principles, and go on to placements in different areas of the company. These last six months each, and allow you to develop a understanding of what working in that area means.
We recruit Apprentices into a number of different areas. You'll enjoy on-and-off-the-job training and opportunities to progress.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Support towards a BA Eng Honours degree in Aerospace Engineering and other qualifications.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
If you successfully complete your apprenticeship you can continue into a long an successful career with Rolls-Royce or you will gain skills to support you in a number of roles.

A Level or equivalent Any subject (Grade C -Equate to 112 UCAS points) Essential

BTEC or equivalent Level 3 engineering related extended diploma (Grade DDM -equate to 112 UCAS points) Essential
Things to consider
5 GCSE's which must include Maths and Physics at Grade B/6, English Language at Grade B/5 plus 2 others at Grade C/4. 3 Alevels - Maths Grade B, Physics or Chemistry at Grade C, plus 1 other at Grade C - equate to 112 UCAS points. OR Btec Level 3 engineering based extended diploma (INCLUDING further Maths element) at DDM - equate to 112 UCAS points
