What will the apprentice be doing?
We offer a career path that will see successful candidates develop through our Degree Apprenticeship Programme into experienced Data Engineering Consultants whilst developing their skills and expertise relevant to our specialist areas.
You will also be supported by Reply's extensive network of industry and technical experts along with our innovative, collaborative and fun training and development opportunities both here in the UK and across Europe.
As a Data Engineer specialising in the Google Cloud Platform (GCP), you will learn to build highly resilient, scalable and performant GCP infrastructure in an automated and efficient manner for our clients. You will learn the essentials of DevOps and Cloud Engineering and develop your skills supporting our customer's platforms and environments.

The successful candidates will undergo a Digital and Technology solutions professional integrated degree apprenticeship which will result in a BSc (Hons) Digital And Technology Solutions.
Each week, you will be office based for 4 days and university based for 1 day.
University details
The University of West London (UWL) is based in Ealing, the closest underground/rail stations are Ealing Broadway or South Ealing. In addition, UWL has campus locations in Brentford and Reading, which you may be required to travel to.

Responsibilities and areas you will develop:
- You will be part of a team delivering cutting edge algorithms and intelligent system solutions to international clients
- Working as part of a team, learning to design, build and manage data pipelines and data lake environments
- Get first-hand experience with the data elements of continuous integration (CI), continuous delivery (CD) and continuous testing activities
- Gain an understanding of database and analytical technologies in the industry including NoSQL storage, Data Warehouse design, BI reporting and Dashboard development.
