- Apply the principles of and undertake Fire Risk Assessments across our homes
- Support the effective delivery of contracted fire prevention / safety equipment installation and maintenance services - ensuring delivery is in-line with contractual and regulatory requirements
- Identify failings and make recommendations for improvements - engaging with internal and external stakeholders to improve fire safety awareness and practices
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Whilst you study for a BSc (Hons) Fire Safety Engineering degree at Birmingham City University, we'll provide you with a broad range of hands-on opportunities to put your learning into practice. Having benefitted from a broad range of support, including guidance from seasoned industry professionals and our senior leadership team, your five-year apprenticeship will culminate in you gaining sector leading experience, a recognised degree, and membership of the Institute of Fire Engineers - the industry gold standard for fire engineering professionals
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
- Having benefitted from a broad range of support, including guidance from seasoned industry professionals and our senior leadership team, your five-year apprenticeship will culminate in you gaining sector leading experience, a recognised degree, and membership of the Institute of Fire Engineers - the industry gold standard for fire engineering professionals. This will put you in an excellent position to contiune your career as a Fire Safety Engineer with us.
