What will the apprentice be doing?
As a Project Management Apprentice, you will be part of the Investor and Corporate Advisory Team who support clients at the early stage of developing projects and advise them regarding, the strategic development of infrastructure assets, logistics and shipping activities. You will be part of a team that provides transaction and consultancy related services in complex multidisciplinary projects. Your work could include market studies, demand forecasting, technical and financial feasibility assessments, due diligent assignments (for both lenders and equity) and net zero carbon strategies.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will attend Coventry University to study a Project Management degree apprenticeship and gain a bachelors qualification, as well as completing your End Point Assessment. You will also be enrolled onto a bespoke internal development programme to help you to attain the knowledge, skills and behaviours to successfully achieve your apprenticeship, and support your career in Project Management.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
As this is a permanent position, after gaining your degree, WSP will continue to be committed to your learning and development throughout your career with us. You will have the opportunity to work towards gaining Chartered status with your chosen institution, as well as the opportunity to pursue your further study and training goals.
