What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
The aim of the apprenticeship is to develop an individual as a competent Process Engineer, with the added benefit of obtaining hands on experience in nuclear new build, decommissioning and defence projects. We would also support the individual in achieving Professional Recognition through the Chartered Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) on the completion of the apprenticeship.

- The role will require the individual to participate in various areas of practical and theoretical training combined with the company specific training given in the workplace.
- You will be involved in nuclear new build, decommissioning and defence projects.
- Candidates will gain a solid foundation within a professional design office and have the opportunity to learn from professional and friendly individuals.
- Apprentices also attend university to complete a nationally recognised level 6 qualification.

- Level 6 Science Industry Process Plant Engineer Degree Apprenticeship Standard which includes a BEng Degree in Chemical Engineering
