Apprentice Clerical Officer - Fixed Term - 12 months

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Apprentice Clerical Officer to join our Therapy Admin Team located across 2 sites in Chester and Ellesmere Port. The team is a forward looking and proactive multidisciplinary team providing services across the acute and primary healthcare sector within West Cheshire area.

If you are interested in starting a career in administration within the NHS, have good verbal and written skills, the ability to prioritise and work under pressure and are a conscientious team worker, then we would like to hear from you.

The apprenticeship is a work-based training programme where you will be able to develop your skills, including English and Maths, and to gain a nationally recognised qualification in either Customer Service level 2 or Business Administration level 3 depending on prior experience and qualifications.

Main duties of the job

The successful post holder will provide support to an efficient clerical team with duties including reception, telephone, queries, appointments, audio typing and referral management.
