About the apprenticeship
Duties
You will be required to work towards your level 2 childcare qualification
Your role within the setting will consist of supporting the staff and leader in the day to day running of the routine, contributing to and implementing the planning and policies of the setting.
You will be required to make detailed observations on a regular basis and begin to complete half termly assessments on your key children
You will be expected to take part in all aspects of the routine including nappy changing, food preparation
Assist in the collection of children from different schools/ setting either via foot or car if you have a full drivers licence, using the risk assessments provided.
You will be required to work a minimum of 16 hours per week on a rota basis between the hours of 8am-6pm Mon-Fri
