Whilst working across the Social Value & Environmental Department, you'll assist the team with all the Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability-related activities that the business is organising. You'll primarily work alongside the Social Value Manager and Environmental Social Governance Manager (ESG) to:
Clients:
- Help to deliver social value and Social Governance and Sustainability projects in partnership with clients to meet social value commitments.
- Attend client meetings when and where necessary.
- Assist the Social Value Manager with social value reporting.
Volunteering:
- Coordinate volunteering programme from sourcing through to delivery.
- Promote volunteering opportunities internally via email.
Fundraising:
- Organise fundraising events for our Charity of the Year as well as project-based initiatives.
Work Inspiration:
- Develop relationships with local schools and colleges.
- Represent the business at career events and job fairs.
- Help to facilitate the business' apprentice recruitment programme including sourcing candidates, screening applications, and carrying out interviews.
Social Value:
- Draft monthly and quarterly client reports, presentations and briefings for varied audiences including external stakeholders.
- Supporting the Social Value Manager with the administration of Social Value Activity.
- Liaising with divisional contracts managers as well as RLO Managers about upcoming events and initiatives.
- Supporting Marketing to create SV case studies and forward planning social value calendar with a Marketing executive.
- Research community groups and charities to understand the need for each project.
- Championing Quinn's volunteering scheme.
- Coordinate work placements within the office and ensure that all H&S and Risk Assessments are carried out to a high standard.
- Obtaining regular communication with community stakeholders and school partners.
Sustainability:
- Input and analyse ESG and Sustainability performance data.
- Championing Quinn's Path to Net Zero across the business.
- Manage data input and collection of waste data.
- Assist the ESG Manager with administration of ESG & Sustainability initiatives and campaigns.
- Help deliver internal ESG & Sustainability training and provide guidance and information to staff on Environmental issues.
- Follow and support policies, procedures, initiatives, and work instructions related to ESG, Sustainability improvement, and Environmental compliance.
- To assist with Monthly, Site, Environmental Inspections, and reporting.
