What will the apprentice be doing?
Civil Engineers are construction professionals who make up our site supervisory team. They work on infrastructure projects such as roads, rail and nuclear. Our Civil Engineering Apprentices work predominantly outdoors, turning site plans into reality.

A Level or equivalent STEM A Levels / Level 3 Equivalent (Grade Pass) Essential

As a Civil Engineering Apprentice, you will be involved in:
- Assisting with the setting out of works
- Attending and participating in daily safety briefings, activity plan briefings and tool box talks
- Providing assistance to engineering staff
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Alongside working on one of our sites, you will attend Leeds College of Building on a block release basis (accommodation will be provided and travel expenses paid)
- You will work towards a Level 4 apprenticeship in Civil Engineering
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
- Upon successful completion of the Level 4 programme, many of our Apprentices progress on to a Level 6 Apprenticeship, where they work towards their Degree
- You will also get the opportunity to gain a professional qualification with the Institution of Civil Engineers / Institute of Civil Engineering Surveyors / Chartered Institute of Building
