You will be part of a friendly team and will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors to the surgery.

If so, look no further to join the apprenticeship programme to achieve a QCF (NVQ) Level 2 in Business Administration along with Essential Skills Wales. We are a busy GP practice in Newport, Gwent who has experience of training people in all disciplines including doctors, nurses and administrative teams. You will gain excellent experience and training as part of an experienced team.
This is an exciting and challenging role in a busy environment.
The practice policy is that successful candidates in ANY role may not be registered at the practice. If registered as a patient you will be required to register elsewhere.
Flexibility in working hours is necessary to cover any periods of colleague absence, and to allow time for regular educational visits.
Hours of work will be 25 per week.

Skills
You should be capable, enthusiastic, with an ability to deal with the public in a professional, approachable manner and have impeccable customer service skills.
You should have sound computer knowledge, although system specific knowledge is not necessary.
Qualifications
Personality more important than qualifications.
Language
Welsh Spoken Skills: No Welsh Written Skills: No
