What will the apprentice be doing?

Key Responsibilities:
  • Learn through support and training how to develop and own your strategy for targeting new business, this may be through independent research, some cold calling, identifying decision makers and pitching our products over the phone
  • Contacting our existing customer base, taking orders and identifying upselling opportunities
  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and departments such as sales support and marketing
  • Learn to produce clear reporting to the sales manager and accurate data input into relevant systems in a timely manner
  • Grow and take ownership of your sales targets and personal development plan
  • Understand how maintain accurate customer information using the company's CRM

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
  • You will be undertaking the Sales Executive Level 4 Programme; this will be delivered to you by Mercuri International UK
  • Mercuri are Global Leaders in Sales and Leadership Training, and also a Business Improvement Consultancy offering commercial training
  • The duration of the programme is approximately 18 months
  • Training is delivered through a series of themed workshops, live virtual learning (VILT), coaching sessions, 1:1 session's with your nominated coach who will support you for the duration of your journey, we support with directed online learning and face to face training and coaching when we are able
  • The training and theory is designed to be relevant and appliable to your day to day role, it will challenge you and push to you achieve excellence in performance
