What will the apprentice be doing?

As an Underwriting Operations Apprentice, you will work within our Commercial business, contributing to the development and management of underwriting processes which supports our large international customers and key broking partners. You will support teams across our business to help support the accurate delivery to our customers.

You will build relationships with key stakeholders within the commercial business to support our customers' and brokers' needs. You will have an opportunity to start your Zurich career in the dynamic, complex and exciting Insurance market, learning from experienced relationship managers in your team.

Beyond the day to day activities there are also opportunities to get involved in supporting future ways of working, including:

- process improvement

- automation

- artificial intelligence technology

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

The length of your apprenticeship will vary dependant on course provider and scheme. You will be working toward a level 4 Insurance Professional qualification. Rest assured, we will support your study time alongside your permanent role.

Diploma level qualifications from either the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) or the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters (CILA) are required to complete this apprenticeship. Different units can be selected within the qualification frameworks depending on the individual's role.
