Overview:

If you enjoy keeping things in order and like being part of a team whilst becoming more data literate, this job could suit you perfectly.

As a data administrator, you would be making sure that day-to-day office tasks run smoothly. So, it’s important that you are organised, accurate and pay close attention to detail.

Duties: [may include, but not be limited to:] 

  • Assisting with administration duties of the Operations Support teams
  • Filing and scanning of customer documents and certificates
  • Entering and maintaining information in databases using spreadsheets with Excel and Salesforce CRM Database
  • Monitoring relevant mailboxes and distribution lists using Outlook and Word
  • Providing updates to the Managing Director on a daily basis 
  • Participating in office meetings and discussions
  • Organising and managing staff appointments
  • General ad-hoc duties as required

In some jobs you might only do a few of these tasks, and in others you might carry out all the administrative duties in your department.

Entry requirements: 

  • 3 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications. 

Typical working week: 

You will work on site for four days per week and attend apprentice study day for one day a week (As well as block training when needed). Most site hours are: Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm. 

National apprenticeship living wage applies. 

Future prospects:

92% of QA Apprentices secure full-time employment after finishing their apprenticeship. Additionally there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks.
