Finance Assistant Apprentice

Babington, a leading provider of apprenticeships, professional training courses and learning solutions are supporting our client,  one of Scotland’s largest housing associations., to recruit for their next Finance Assistant Apprentice, based in Dundee .

As an apprentice, what will I be doing?

The team are responsible for processing the organisation’s finances, which you will provide administrative support for.

No two days will be the same on your apprenticeship journey, and you will carry out a variety of administration and customer focussed tasks on a daily basis.

What training will I undertake and what qualification will I get at the end?
SCQF Level 6 in accountancy supported with a 121 coach and e-learning platform.

What is my expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

The suitable candidate will also have the opportunity to progress further to the SCQF 7 & 8 once they have successfully completed their SCQF 6 qualification.

Are there any requirements for me to be considered?

A minimum education level of SCQF Level 5 (National 5 Award including English and preferably Maths and Admin, and Business)
Having good IT skills
Having good communication skills, both verbal and in writing
Having a can-do attitude
