ATT Tax Apprenticeship
As a Tax Apprentice you'll start off by learning the fundamentals of tax.
You will assist members of the tax department across all areas of tax and will be involved in:
- Carrying out technical tax research
- Assisting with the completion of personal and corporation tax returns
- Advising clients on their tax requirements
- Negotiating with HM Revenue & Customs
- Attention to detail
3 A Levels (with at least two at grades A* to C) or equivalent.Future prospects Potential to progress within a growing tax department. Things to consider This is a tax qualification. If you are already studying the AAT, please note this is not a transferrable qualification and you will study the ATT. Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.40 per hour from 1st October 2016. This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
