Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for an IT apprentice with Kolorcraft, a Printing Services Company based in Ossett.

Job Description:

We are now looking to offer a new and exciting opportunity for an individual who enjoys technology and is a good problem solver towards an approved NVQ Apprenticeship Scheme within our fast-paced IT department.

Supporting the team, the main purpose of this role will be to maintain computer and network systems, dealing directly with colleagues who have technical issues. 

Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:

• Support to the end users.
• Build and configurations of devices.
• Asset management.
• Printer maintenance and support.
• First point of contact for support calls.
• Telephony support.

Qualifications:

• 5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)

Skills Required:

• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
• Be practical minded.
• Problem solver.

• A genuine interest in IT.

Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 3 Information Communications Technician, with training in how to:

• Efficiently operate and control your ICT infrastructure – physical or virtual hardware, software, network services and data storage.
• Use infrastructure management tools to automate the provisioning, testing, deployment and monitoring of infrastructure components.
• Prioritise systems support tasks and monitor and maintaining system performance.
• Maintain regulatory, legal and professional standards.
• Support the information systems needs for your business.
