Personal Trainer Apprenticeship

Your role will include:

- Reflecting on and developing your own ability to instruct exercise and physical activity

- Promoting health, safety, and welfare in the gym environment

- Working with clients to help them exercise effectively

- Planning and preparing gym-based exercise

- Instructing and supervising gym-based exercise

Applicants should ideally have acquired relevant active experience in the fitness sector prior to enrolment.

Ideally, candidates will also hold a level 2 fitness qualification to access the Personal Trainer level 3 apprenticeship. For applicants that don't hold this qualification you will be required to undertake an enhanced level 2/3 combined apprenticeship.

-For those with a current or historic Education Health and Care plan (EHCP) the minimum requirement is to have passed a full Functional Skills Entry Level 3 qualification in both maths and English

With Therapy Gyms you still be studying towards your Enhanced Personal Training apprenticeship (L2/L3 combined) over the course of 15 months.
