The role will offer a unique opportunity to work across all of the different areas within the Risk function whilst working towards a level 3 qualification in risk and compliance. The role will allow you to learn how effective risk management in embedded within the organisation across a number of different areas including Financial Crime, Operational Risk, Credit Risk, IT Risk, Operational Resilience, Compliance and Conduct Risk and Treasury Risk.

As a Regulatory Risk Apprentice you will work closely with a number of our risk managers on areas like project support, stress and resilience testing, MI and reporting, horizon scanning and more. The role will develop knowledge and skills of the regulatory environment in which financial services operate within and provide you with a sound understanding of effective risk management.

With the support of your manager and mentor, you will have objectives to work towards to make sure you are developing during your time with us. You will have exposure to the responsibilities of wider team by supporting projects and tasks in the department.

We anticipate that this will take place on 20th April 2023 at our Cobalt office.  

About You

You should have a minimum of 5 GCSE's (Grade A*-C/4-9, including Maths and English) are essential, preferably including an ICT grade.

An ability to communicate effectively with others via a range of methods along with first class attention to detail is a must.

Be able to demonstrate basic understanding and usage of a personal computing device with basic IT administration skills.
