Job Details

As an Apprentice Recovery Worker you will be working towards an Adult Care Worker Level 2 alongside your daily roles and responsibilities over the duration of 15 months.

This role is working as part of the SPOC Team based in Stevenage providing a single point of contact for all communication into Spectrum. This includes supporting people with drug and/or alcohol issues on their journey to recovery.

Key Activities:

- Being a single point of contact for all communication into Spectrum

- Combination of telephone triage, advice, and brief intervention - signposting candidates to universal services across Hertfordshire

- Handling enquiries from a wide range of professionals and partner organisations

- Provide 1:1 key work session including harm reduction advice and recovery planning

- Some admin work, including recording information

- Support and empower service users to engage in recovery activities both within Change Grow Live and the wider community
