Apprentice Security Receptionist/Nursing Assistant
The post holder will work as a member of the security team based within the reception and/or liaison areas of the Forensic Directorate medium and/or low secure hospital sites.
The post holder will support safety and security by competent operation of various and complex egress and access systems which contribute to a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, contractors and staff in accordance with Trust/Directorate policies and procedures.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be based within the reception control room, monitoring security systems (CCTV, emergency alarms, fire alarms), supporting all access and egress through secure air-locks, acting as an administrator, and assisting staff with the Traka System (electronic key system).
They will deal with all visitors, contractors, telephone calls in a polite, efficient and professional manner in accordance with Trust policy and local procedure.
