What will the apprentice be doing?

Learn by doing with our technical training. You'll put theory into practice with hands-on activities and expert demonstrations in eight 2-day SMART Classroom sessions. Unlike traditional education, our apprenticeship training doesn't simply teach for the test. Our exam-free programme and project-led approach gives you the skills you need to thrive in your career.
In this role, you'll work towards your Level 4 Software Development Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

- Develop new software solutions for new and existing applications.
- Meet with staff & board members to discuss requirements of new & existing apps or websites.
- Backup all applications & user data on different servers.
- reak down individual components during the development stage to test how the software code performs and verify its functionality.
- Plan & estimate requirements for new components/applications.
- Follow all coding practices & guidelines set by team.
