What will the apprentice be doing?
The purpose of the role is to generate sales of all Paragon products and services through telephone and email communication and to keep appropriate records on the company's CRM system.
As a Sales Executive Apprentice, you will be responsible for:
You will need to be motivated and confidenttalking to people and learning about the products and services you will be selling. It is a target-orientated role, so you will need to be organised and driven to achieve and exceed your targets.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will be awarded a Level 4 Sales Executive apprenticeship standard. Achievement of the standard meets the eligibility requirements for Sales Certification at Level 4 with the Institute of Sales Professionals (ISP).
Throughout your time as an apprentice, you will be supported by a dedicated BPIF Training Coordinator. Delivery will take place via a series of online workshops, complimented by one-to-one sessions with your allocated Training Coordinator to ensure progress. As an apprentice, you will undertake 'off-the-job' training to develop the required knowledge, skills and behaviours of the apprenticeship standard.

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, we aim to employ the apprentice as a permanent member of staff. Opportunities will be provided to further develop your professional career within the company.

- Leading the end-to-end sales interaction with an allocated customer portfolio
- Managing sales internally within the organisation
- Retaining and growing a number of existing customer accounts
- Generating new business by contacting prospective customers, qualifying opportunities and bringing the sales process to a mutually acceptable close
- Working to targets and sales forecasts
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the services provided by Paragon Training
- Process orders and payments
- Carry out all necessary administrative duties
- Maintain an up-to-date product knowledge in order to keep customers informed of our products and services
