Customer Service Assistant

Babington, a leading provider of apprenticeships, professional training courses and learning solutions are supporting our client, a retail business with a great reputation for providing quality fabrics, clothing and interiors products in over 500 tartans through our website and retail stores. With a flagship store in Edinburgh and recent expansion to the USA where we opened our first international store in Albany, New York. We have a passion for Scotland honouring its heritage and pride ourselves on promoting traditional textiles via creative campaigns, to recruit for their next Customer Service Assistant, based in Duns, TD11.

As an apprentice, what will I be doing?

What does the role involve?

• Giving customers top-notch advice Using our CRM respond to customer emails in a timely manner Use LiveChat to help customers choose the right garment Giving customers a warm welcome and be on hand to help with any questions or queries Dealing with orders/ purchased Dealing with payments Delivering high quality customer service

What are the working hours, pay and benefits on offer?

As a Customer Service Assistant you will be required to work Monday to Friday and we are also open on Sunday. Sundays are usually worked 1 in 5 weeks on a rota basis. Weekdays are 9am to 5pm with one day a week 10am to 6pm on a rota basis..  In return you will be receive a salary of £10,566 to £15,190.

 
What training will I undertake and what qualification will I get at the end?
SCQF Level 6 Customer Service Practitioner. supported with a 121 coach and e-learning platform.

Functional Skills level 2 in Maths and English if required.

Are there any requirements for me to be considered?

A proficient understanding of Microsoft office programs.
Access to a vehicle and driving licence. We are based in a rural location and therefore public transport is unfortunately unavailable.
