What will the apprentice be doing?
  • Perform the following activities (in the Bristol area) on building automation systems, assist with commissioning,
    modifications/refurbishment, repair, maintenance
  • Perform site risk assessments and assist in producing method statements
  • Assist in the production of on-site test results and sitework reports
  • Contribute to the formulation of offers for site activities
  • Promote the company's service activities, identify and pursue business opportunities

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
  • Gain a level 6 Degree in Building Services Design
  • Off the job training will take place at Coventry University
  • Block release

Successful apprentices will gain a BSc or BEng building services degree which is accredited by the relevant professional engineering institution.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Things to consider

You must not have a degree in a similar subject. Due to UK government apprenticeship funding rules, you must have lived in the UK for at least 3 years and have permission from the UK government to live in the UK (not for educational purposes) or have obtained pre-settled or settled status.
