As a Civil Engineering Apprentice - Transport Planning (Level 6) you will be involved in:

Level 6 Civil Engineer Degree at the University of Wolverhampton
Successful apprentices will gain a BSc or BEng civil engineering degree which is accredited by the Joint Board of Moderators.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
If you are successful in being offered a permanent role with Jacobs at the end of the apprenticeship, you will be given the opportunity for further development and qualifications, depending on the business need and your capabilities and interests.
Past apprentices have taken up roles of Engineering Technician and have been given opportunities to work in different areas of the business, or at different locations across the UK if desired.

As you will be undertaking your studies on day release, please ensure the journey is feasible for you and you can get there of your own accord. In order for us to consider your application you should have permanent Right to Work in the UK.
As a Civil Engineering Apprentice - Transport Planning (Level 6) you will be involved in:
- Multi-modal transport planning from high level policy and strategy advice through transport modelling, appraisal, economics
- Active travel
- Streets design
- Traffic engineering
- Junction design
- You will have the support of a mentor, our management team and experts to guide your progress
- You will also be given the ability to pursue relevant business and technical training to support your career development
