What will the apprentice be doing?
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Level 6 Building Services Design Engineer apprenticeship standard:
Successful apprentices will gain a BSc or BEng building services degree which is accredited by the relevant professional engineering institution. Apprentices without Level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking the end-point assessment.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
At the end of the apprenticeship, if successful, you will be given the opportunity for further development and qualifications, depending on the business need and your capabilities and interests.
Past apprentices have taken up roles of Graduate Mechanical Engineer and have been given opportunities to work in different areas of the business, or at different locations across the UK if desired.

As you will be undertaking your studies on day release, please ensure the journey is feasible for you and you can get there of your own accord. In order for us to consider your application you should have permanent Right to Work in the UK.
- Develop an interdisciplinary planning, design and delivery pratice that is uniquely Jacobs, that sets the direction for the industry, and is home to the very best and brightest design thinkers, disruptors, technical experts, visionaries and storytellers
- Provide collaborative and coordinated value design solutions for our clients both nationally and internationally
- Participate in producing designs and associated deliverables
