What will the apprentice be doing?

You will be responsible for:
  • Assisting in the initiation, planning, design, management and
    delivery of projects, taking the lead on specific minor
    projects and/or specific aspects of larger projects to
    ensure satisfactory progress and consistent delivery of
    projects aligned to the agreed funding, outputs and
    timescales for those projects.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to support the
    creation of a high performance organisation.
  • Developing and maintaining understanding of relevant
    functional strategies and priorities.
  • Using data and analytics to support the development of
    processes, policies and strategies and innovative
    approaches to improve performance and delivery of
    operational plans.
  • Establishing plans, targets and KPIs to support the delivery of
    operational priorities.
  • Supporting the use of customer insight and analysis of data
    to identify opportunities to improve services to customers
    and meet customer needs.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Alongside work, you will be completing a fully funded Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship with Manchester Metropolitan University, all whilst receiving coaching from experienced managers, a dedicated mentor and buddy.

The Programme lasts four years and is block release, after successful completion, you will gain a degree BA (Hons) Business Management Professional which was developed in collaboration with employers and the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). This supports apprentices
to become critical, professional and capable management practitioners.

Apprentices will develop skills in communication, presentation and team working, quickly building the confidence to work successfully with clients andcolleagues.

The core curriculum focuses on organisational performance, personal effectiveness, and projectskills.
