What will the apprentice be doing?
Candidates will be required to build a knowledge of water, environment and flood risk management and will possess an interest in developing and progressing a career in environmental consultancy. They will support our teams to assist with the delivery of a wide range of projects, including hydrological assessments, hydraulic modelling studies, options appraisal, flood risk assessments, strategic flood risk assessments and resilience studies.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Training will be day or block release with an approved training provider to meet the requirements of the apprenticeship standard
Upon successful completion of the Level 6 apprenticeship you will receive a BSc Environmental Science degree.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Following successful completion of the apprenticeship you will follow a structured training and development plan to progress within your team.
