What will the apprentice be doing?
We have an opportunity for a highly motivated, skilled and enthusiastic Information Technology (IT) Project Manager to work within our Project Management Office (PMO) based at our Head Office in Essex, to help deliver real excellence in operational delivery and to drive improvement across the company.
Although we expect candidates to have some prior IT Systems experience within the Project Management sector this opportunity includes the Associate Project Manager L4 apprenticeship training that will "stretch" any current knowledge and allow you to gain new skills to develop a successful Project Manager career within Levett Consultancy. The apprenticeship training includes the APM (Association for Project Management) Project Management qualification.
The position is ideally suited to someone who might be considering a career sector change and has a high interest in the digital technology sector.

Identify, track and support 20% off the job training activities
Quarterly formal progress review meetings; identifying learning achievements and next steps

We are looking for the successful candidate to become an integral part of our Project Management Office and develop a successful career within Levett Consultancy.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for projects, providing updates to clients and internal stakeholders on project status, changes and risks.
- Define project objectives, scopes, schedules and budgets in collaboration with relevant parties, ensuring all projects remain within defined parameters.
- Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including plans, reports, presentations and requirement specifications.
- Coordinate project resources, both internally and externally, to ensure efficient and effective execution of project tasks.
- Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments to scope, timeline and budget as necessary to ensure successful and timely completion.
- Identify and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle, developing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Conduct quality assurance testing to ensure all deliverables meet or exceed expectations.
- Handle customer enquires and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Escalate issues to appropriate channels as needed, keeping all relevant parties updated on developments.
- Generate post-project reports documenting lessons learned and best practices for future reference.
- Lead, motivate and support Operations and Project teams within a time-sensitive and demanding environment.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest IT and project management industry trends.
