What will the apprentice be doing?
Main duties:
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Year 1: 4 days PEO units (Performing Engineering Operations)
covering Electrical, Mechanical and Civils plus one day relevant HNC at Wigan & Leigh college.
Years 2 onwards: day release at Wigan & Leigh college with 4 days
working in Tenet office in Warrington.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Subject to performance, Tenet will sponsor the candidate through a
Degree qualification and support achievement of IEng through
IMechE.

Things to consider
The successful candidates must be able to get to the college / work for set times. Must have to pass a security clearance (DBS) for successful employment.
Main duties:
- To work in the design team, report into and be supervised by your lead engineer.
- Work with client specifications and interpret design information.
- Produce and amend drawings on 2D/3D CAD software meeting the relevant engineering codes and standards.
- Produce simple calculations to underpin the design solution.
- Visit and survey client Sites and facilities.
- Always follow the company's H&S policies (on customer site & on company premises).
- Work in accordance with company management systems.
- Work as part of a team.
- Produce quality work.

- Nuclear technician Level 5 (Higher national diploma)
Year 1: 4 days PEO units (Performing Engineering Operations)
