Harper Macleod are currently seeking a Legal Support Apprentice to join their firm in Inverness, with the view of them being trained as a Legal Secretary upon completion of their apprenticeship.

Main responsibilities:
- Audio and copy typing using BigHand software (training will be provided) Communicate internally and externally using MS Outlook Update MS Excel documents accordingly Assist with Client and matter opening Handle telephone enquiries in a polite & professional manner within the agreed timescales Participate in ad hoc projects Reception cover on an ad-hoc basis Processing mail General administration including typing, filing, photocopying, scanning
Desirable skills and personal qualities:
- Professional attitude and well presented Excellent administrative and organisational skills Excellent communication skills, verbal and in writing Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines Ability to use initiative Attention to detail Experience of dealing directly with clients face to face or by telephone (advantage)
