Apprenticeship Vacancy - 1 x Fixed Term contract opportunity for up to 19 months
Are you looking to build a long-term career while making a difference to the community? Then look no further! If you are people person, adaptable & want to work hard in providing a successful service, then we want you to be part of our Cheltenham & Countywide Podiatry Administration team.
Within this role you will be providing administrative support to the the Countywide Podiatry Team providing a range of administrative support functions essential to the provision of quality community health services for adults in the community.
The successful applicant will receive an induction and training appropriate to the activities he or she will undertake, and following this induction period and will be enrolled in the Business Apprenticeship Programme and will be expected to study and complete assignments to achieve a recognised Level 3 Business Administration qualification. The apprenticeship will include the expectation to complete the L3 Business Administration Apprenticeship within an 18 month timeframe which includes an end point assessment.
Your salary will be £10,132.00 per year. After 12 months, the salary will increase to national minimum wage. The opportunities to upskill will continue as Further higher-level apprenticeships are available upon completion of the Level 3 Business Admin apprenticeship for suitable candidates.
Main duties of the job
They will be expected to work as part of a team in delivering an effective service while evidencing the ability to be calm under pressure and a willingness to undertake and learn new tasks. A range of communication skills, verbal and written, are essential for this role and an ability to manage challenging situations and people presenting with a range of needs in a sensitive and confidential manner.

The role is extremely varied and requires the ability to deal with a wide range of duties. The successful candidate will join a small but experienced admin team who are greatly valued by members of the established team and contribute to the continuing development of administrative support.
