Job Details
Support Secretary Apprentice
You will contribute and commit to promoting a positive team based attitude, striving for the highest standards of service and achieving excellence. You will be expected to provide administrative, clerical and typing support to the Speciality team, working closely with a team of secretaries and be required to undertake a range of supportive duties as appropriate
Main duties of the job
- The apprenticeship is a work-based training programme where you will be able to develop your skills, including English and Maths, and to gain a nationally recognised qualification NVQ 3 in Business and Administration or NVQ 2 in customer services.
- The successful post holder will provide support to an efficient and confidential Paediatric secretarial team completing a variety of administrative tasks. The successful candidate will also gain experience with several other departments within the Trust.
- Part of the working week will be involve completing college work as part of the NVQ qualification.
