Registered Nurse Degree Apprenticeship Band 4 Full time, 37.5 hours per week

To assist registered nursing staff and other healthcare professionals in providing high quality individualised nursing care for a clearly defined group of patients, relatives and carers within a variety of healthcare settings.Ensure patient safety is maintained and patient experience is positive by treating all patients, relatives and colleagues with respect, dignity and courtesy in accordance with the NHS Constitution values.

Main duties of the job

This is a developmental role. Nurse apprentices will work towards progression into the post of a registered adult nurse through successful completion of the Registered Nurse Degree Apprenticeship which includes the attainment of a level 6 BSc (Hons) Degree. Registered Nurse Degree Apprentices will develop and maintain knowledge, skills and competencies related to the role of a nurse within a variety of health and care settings.

The Registered Nurse Degree Apprenticeship programme combines academic and work-based learning through collaboration between employers and education providers. Nurse apprentices will be employed by an organisation in Dorset but will work in a range of settings in order to gain wider experience across a range of health care settings.
