BTEC or equivalent Extended Diploma (Grade DMM) Essential
Things to consider
This role will, on occasion, require you to travel to project sites and client sites.
Working with our commercial team, you will aid and support all commercial issues related to Taziker's projects across the UK.
You will aid in compiling and issuing invitations to tender, analysing subcontractor quotations and creating recommendations for subcontract award.
Other areas of development include:
- Assisting in identifying all commercial risks
- Using our costing system to help improve cost control and commercial reporting.
- Development in communication skills. Learning to liaise successfully with clients and suppliers.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Chartered Surveyor (degree) Apprenticeship Standard:
- You will be with Taziker 4 days a week and at University 1 day a week
- We are based in Chorley and you will need to attend our offices (4 days a week) during your employment with us
- Working alongside the University of Salford, you will finish this apprenticeship with a BSc(Hons) in Quantity Surveying and full chartered membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS)
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
- Once gaining your degree and chartership, you will be able to exercise your new skillset and work with Taziker on exciting projects across the country
- You will be able to progress your career and move into Senior positions and commercial management
