As a Product Pricing Apprentice you will play a pivotal role in the Product and Commercial function, working closely with our Product Managers across our savings and mortgages product lines to optimise our product pricing, ensuring we deliver good outcomes for our members and the Society.

To do this you will engage with teams across our business including finance, balance sheet management, treasury and risk, in addition to our wider customer team, which brings a great opportunity to build your network and gain exposure to senior management across the business.

In addition, as we look to support your development you will also work towards a Level 4 Data Analyst apprenticeship as part of this programme.

With the support of your manager and mentor, you will have objectives to work towards and over the course of your apprenticeship you will build the necessary knowledge and skills to undertake your role and to prepare you for a career in financial services.

About You

• You should have, or be on track to achieve, at least three A Levels (grades B, C, C or above) or a Level 3 equivalent qualification preferably in a STEM subject (Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths) but not essential.
• Have at least a minimum five GCSEs (grade A*-C or 9-4 grade) or equivalent, including English and Maths.
• Have an understanding or experience of data and technology, whether that be through your studies or as an outside passion for self-learning. Experience of Python, R or SQL programming would be great, but we will provide training so this is not essential.
• An ability to communicate effectively with others via a range of methods along with first class attention to detail is a must.
• Be able to demonstrate basic understanding and usage of a personal computing device with basic IT administration skills
