Personal Trainer Apprenticeship

This is a great opportunity to gain skills, experience, and knowledge for those who may wish to pursue a future career in health and fitness industry.

The job will consist of:

- All general duties of a gym instructor will be covered.

- Working alongside the gyms' PTs to get excellent experience and knowledge from other members of the team

- Working towards a Level 3 Personal Training

- Keeping the Gym clean and tidy and maintenance of gym equipment

- Engaging with members

- Supporting personal training 121's

- Support group classes

- Covering on reception.

- Cash handling

You will need to be flexible in the days that you work and available to cover any sick or holiday. You will need to make yourself aware of all the gym equipment and how it works and to be available to all members, helping them to use the equipment and to be able to answer any questions that they may have. Cleanliness is very important in the gym along with up-keep of the equipment. You will be required to offer gym inductions once qualified and to write exercise programmes along with shadowing and taking classes. You will be required to work on reception which involves welcoming members - along with answering the telephone in a welcoming and polite manner. You will also be required to make yourself knowledgeable regarding the different gym memberships and to sign-up new members on the membership system that MoorEnergy Fitness Club use.

At Moorenergy Fitness Club, you will be working towards a Personal Trainer Level 3 Qualification over the course of 15 months.
