Accounts Apprentice

A practice that works with clients in different sectors such as construction, hospitality, marketing & charities are looking for an accounts apprentice to join the team. Duties will include VAT, accounts, tax returns, compliance, front of house duties and administration. Build bookkeeping knowledge with a level 3 AAT qualification with Babington.

What will the apprentice be doing?

Duties will include

• Bookkeeping duties and tasks
• Completing VAT returns
• Accounts preperations and administration
• Tax return and preparation
• Compliance checks and chasing up information as required
• Front of house duties for the department and team
• Taking enquiries and chasing up information
• General accounting and business administration to support the team and accounts function

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

• Level 3 AAT delivered via virtual learning platform 
• 121 skills coach support 
• Hard copies of AAT text books
• Virtual classrooms delivered via MS Teams
• AAT Exams included
• Functional skills level 2 in maths and English can be supported if required. Annual wage:£11,000 Working week:Days to be confirmed, 9am to 5pm, with half hour lunch break.

  Total hours per week: 37.5 hours a week

  Expected duration:18 Months
