Accounts Assistant, based in Falkirk.

As an apprentice, what will I be doing?

You days will be varied and will include the following:

• Sales and purchase ledger processing
• Bank reconciliations
• Scanning sales and purchase invoices into software
• Using cloud-based software to complete book-keeping tasks
• Working alongside the senior Bookkeeper
• Answer all telephone calls and reception enquiries in a polite and
timely manner.

What are the working hours, pay and benefits on offer?

As an Accounts Assistant you will be required to work 36 Hours.  In return you will be receive a salary of £10,000 per year.

 
What training will I undertake and what qualification will I get at the end?
SCQF Level 6 in Accounts supported with a 121 coach and e-learning platform.

Functional Skills level 2 in Maths and English if required.

What is my expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
For the right candidate you would be given support to progress through training to become a Chartered Accountant (ICAS or ACCA) should you wish to proceed to this level.
