What will the apprentice be doing?
· Assist with purchasing car parts, dealing frequently with suppliers
· Maintain parts/product information management
· Keeping contact databases updated: including maintenance of spreadsheets, reports and trackers with a high degree of accuracy
· Investigation and resolution of missing contact and product data
· Searching the internet to verify missing information required and to enhance the current data within data protection regulations
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will take part in the Assitant Buyer Apprenticeship Level 6 which is equivalent to a Degree Level. You will be required to undertake weekly training with our registered training provider. You will do the training remotely from our office in Wembley, where you will have online access to everything you need to complete your modules.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
You can expect to become a full time employee with our organisation after completion of the apprenticeship training. Long term career goal would be to become a Purchasing Director, working to lead all purchasing for the Company.
