About the apprenticeship
Duties
Our teams ensure that we manage our business with integrity. This includes developing and managing assurance and business risk frameworks, anti-money laundering, addressing any conflicts of interest amongst clients and maintaining our independence from them, ensuring we're compliant with regulations and managing the security of our people. An apprenticeship here enables you to experience both the depth and breadth of risk and security within the business, enabling you to make an informed decision about your future career. This scheme is a rotational programme, with time spent gaining experience and understanding key areas of the firm.
Client & Engagement Acceptance: We help to risk assess clients and make key decisions around taking on new clients and engagements.
Personal and Firm Independence: We manage the regulatory requirements the firm has when it comes to Independence to ensure the firm and our people comply accordingly.
Deloitte Business Security (DBS): We help protect the firm from security threats. You will learn about cyber security, data protection, crisis management, physical security, vetting and much more.
Conflicts Management: We work with engagement teams to understand where our work may be in conflict with other ongoing work or each parties respective interests, recommending mitigations and solutions.
