What will the apprentice be doing?

As a Fire Safety Engineer Apprentice you would identify risks and design safeguards to aid the prevention, control and mitigation of the effects of fire.

Some other parts of the role may include:
  • Fire Alarm Installation & Maintenance
  • Fire Extinguisher Installation & Maintenance
  • Fire Risk Assessments
  • Fire Door inspections

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
  • Balfour Beatty offers a comprehensive training programme for the Fire Safety Engineer (degree) Apprenticeship. This will give the opportunity of completing industry recognised degree on a part time basis whilst learning to more important aspects of Fire Safety
  • You will attend university on a block release basis to develop your knowledge. You will provide effective, efficient, confidential and comprehensive support to our business
