What will the apprentice be doing?
Work with the BI Manager / Senior analyst - to gain experience with the technical tools required to analyse the data and develop reports.
Through training and mentoring gain the knwoledge and the skills to use Power BI and other reporting tools to develop reports that meet the requirements of the business.
Work across departments to design and develop reports to support the changing needs of the relevant teams. Update and redesign reports and processess when required or when business changes.
Understand the design and structure of the current databases, understanding the relationships of the data to the requirements of the business. Gain an understanding of the ELT and coding of data in reports and the data lake.
Support the ongoing use and training of the reporting solution to ensure that users get the full benefit of the current reporting suite. Gain the skills to be able to code in SQL, utilise DAX in Power BI, be comfortable analysing using Power BI and Excel and if possible have skills with Python or R Coding.
Be comfortable working within a diverse team, across mutiple locations. Based in London office
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
BSc honours degree
University of west London - 1 day per week.
Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
Office based near shorditch London
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Upon completion with a degree in data analytics you can progress into a successful career or further education.
