What will the apprentice be doing?
As an apprentice Design and Manufacturing Engineer you will gain a wealth of experience obtained through a number of Design and Manufacturing placements in ITP Aero UK.
You will spend time in the following teams:
Working closely with our skilled Engineers to develop your knowledge, skills and experience to design and manufacture world-class aerospace components.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
On completion of this apprenticeship you will achieve a Level 6 BEng in Manufacturing Engineering with Mechanical Design, Diploma of Higher Education in Manufacturing Engineering with Electronics and Certificate of Higher Education in Manufacturing Engineering with Electronics.
You will receive Incorporated Engineer (IEng) accreditation by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE).
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
You will also be eligible to apply for a role within our Engineering department at ITP Aero UK.

BTEC or equivalent Engineering (Grade 90+ credits) Essential

Beyond your qualifications, it would be advantageous if you could demonstrate that you are genuinely interested in engineering. For example, we'd like to hear about how you tinker with cars, bikes or motorbikes; or about an engineering project you've done at school or work, or a club you've been involved with.
