The successful candidate will be required to attend weekday courses, once a week, at First Intuition Chelmsford to study towards their Level 7 qualification as part of the Accountancy or taxation professional apprenticeship.

A Level or equivalent Any subject (Grade Pass) Desired
Things to consider
The training will take place at First Intuition in Chelmsford therefore please ensure travel to and from both college and the workplace is considered when applying.
Key Responsibilities of the role:
- Bookkeeping and year end account: Using various software packages and to prepare year end accounts to meet regulatory, and/or management reporting requirements
- VAT returns: To liaise with clients so that information required for VAT returns is received in good time for the submission of the returns by specific deadlines
- To assist with the preparation of these returns
- Client Administration: To set up client files in line with our firm's approved procedures and compliant with regulatory requirements
- Use of packages to monitor, plan and communicate
- Training will be given on the firms accounting software Kashflow, Smartvault and Taxcalc. Training may also be given on other accounting software packages including SAGE, IRIS, Xero and Quickbooks but exposure to these packages will depend upon the clients worked on
Other tasks:
- To co-operate and communicate with all staff
- To be responsible for the quality of own work
- To carry out general tasks as and when required
