What will the apprentice be doing?
Candidates will be required to build a knowledge of civil engineering and will possess an interest in developing and progressing a career in the engineering consultancy. They will report to an Engineer and will assist with the delivery of a range of engineering and environmental improvement projects, including asset inspection, options appraisal, concept design and detailed scheme design.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Training will be day or block release with an approved training provider to meet the requirements of the apprenticeship standard.
Upon successful completion of this Level 6 apprenticeship you will receive a BSc/BEng Civil Engineer degree.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Following successful completion of the apprenticeship you will follow a structured training and development plan to progress within your team.
