What will the apprentice be doing?
In addition to day release to attend university for external training the successful candidates will go through a structured training plan within the business. The apprentice will experience all aspects of the design, development, sales and manufacturing process.
In these departments you will receive training on how they work and will actually be a fully contributing member of the team.
This will require the candidate to work on various shift patterns over the 3 years.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
External Training:
Leeds Trinity: 3 days every 6 weeks over 3 years.
Internal Training:
You will rotate around the business to receive training and work experience in various departments covering:
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
On completion of the Chartered Managers Degree qualification it is anticipated that the candidate will join our Production Management Team as a department or shift manager (salary circa £30,000 pa). With the responsibility for that department / shift and reporting directly to the Production Manager. You will then have responsibility for ensuring your department achieves agreed performance targets, training and health and safety of the employees under your management control.
